Set the digimode program to the input of that card and select Stereo Mix in the soundcard mixer. Set the SDR program "RX Output (Speaker)" to the card with Stereo Mix. This is said to be often available but hidden. I'm doing this mainly so that people in my community can request songs to be played to friends and loved ones whilst not being able to see them etc, and it's keeping people's spirits up, but I'd like to be able to hear what I'm doing live so that I can drop some jingles and stuff in the mix.For passing audio in one direction from one program to another:- Many soundcards have a "Stereo Mix", "What You Hear" "Listen to this device", maybe some other name in their mixer settings. I know my way around the laptop so I can take instructions well as indeed any questions that need answering. I know I have settings in my sound section and all these different inputs and outputs etc, but I'm not sure what I should have checked here there or everywhere and wondered if someone could talk me through perhaps what I've done wrong (if anything) If what I need to do can be achieved? (previously I tried to do the stream without the VCable and although I could hear it from my output on my laptop fine, it wouldn't send to the server because I couldn't select the sound card (Realtek HD) from the Butt interface. I have my DJ program (ots DJ) "on air" set to the virtual cable, which in turn sends the signal to Butt which encodes and sends to the server - that is all fine, but the issue with listening to the stream is that it's about 12 seconds behind the actual live event So, I am streaming music to a server and everything is fine from that perspective, high quality, excellent, BUT I am unable to hear the music live from my laptop output (with ear buds) I can only hear via another device listening into the stream via the URL. Hoping someone can help me with this problem.
